Hi and once again thanks for this great rendering plugin.
I have downloaded some free HDR images and have tried to use them.
They render fine and produce all the effects as they should but I can’t find a way to resize them.
The problem is that the images are totaly disproportionate to my model and resizing my model doesn’t change the relationship.
I’m quite new at this so maybe there is an easy way to do this which I’ve simply overlooked.
Right now the blades of grass in the HDR are taller than my house!
maybe a tutorial or some instructions could be helpful here.
I treid this but it doesn’t quite produce the results I want.
If I change the FOV so that the proprtions are correct my model is so distorted like through a fish eye lense that the render is useless.
When could the global scale fix come? I would be very happy to see that.
Just a thought:
If I were to create a globe around my model and project an image onto it, I could resize that. What would happen if I assigned a light characteristic to that globe’s surface? would that make it similar and would sunlight stil propogate through the globe?
hdr maps are created with scale in mind, so it is not easy to “rescale” them.
In version 1.16 I added horizontal scale up to 4 times, it will distort map, so should not be used with animation,
but for stills it does the job.
